Paritta Recitation : MOIP organizes New Year Ceremony

The Ministry of Immigration and Population held Paritta Suttas recitation ceremony marking the transition to 1388 Myanmar New Year at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Members of Sangha led by Pyinmana Township Sangha Working Committee, WaiLuWon Monastery Presiding Sayadaw graced the ceremony. The ceremony was inaugurated with the three times recitation of Namotasa. Then, the congregation led by Union Minister U Myint Kyaing received 5 precepts administered by the presiding Sayadaw.

Then, the members of Sangha recited Parritta Suttas. Following this, the Union Minister and congregation donated offertories to the members of Sangha and received the sermons delivered by the Sayadaw. The ceremony was concluded after sharing the merits gained.
