Preparation for Thingyan : Famous singers will perform at Walking Thingyan

Deputy Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw U Maung Maung Ohn, together with Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin and Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, inspected preparations for the Walking Thingyan festival to be held at Nay Pyi Taw Square on Saturday.

They oversaw the construction of the main gate, preparations for opening ceremony, rehearsals by dance groups, construction of Thingyan pandals, water supply systems, and electricity supply. It learnt that famous singers will perform at Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan starting from the morning of the Thingyan Akyo Day.
