Friendly Relations : Meeting with the Chinese delegation

President U Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Special Envoy of Chinese President and Vice Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Mr. Jiang Xinzhi at Presidential Guest House on Friday.

During the meeting, President U Min Aung Hlaing expressed his appreciation for the presence of Mr. Jiang Xinzhi at the swear-in ceremony, upholding existing friendly Pauk-Phaw relation and long-standing neighborhood. The President also extended appreciation for the congratulatory message sent by President Mr Xi Jinping.

For his side, Mr. Jiang Xinzhi conveyed the message of the President Mr Xi Jinping, expressing his appreciation for Myanmar’s firm stance on one China Policy and elaborated on China’s unwavering support for Myanmar’s sovereignty, security, development and interest.

Then, the two sides cordially exchanged views on bilateral cooperation to uphold peace and stability in border areas, China’s assistance in Myanmar’s internal peace process, mutual support on international arena, Myanmar’s process on democracy, anti-online gambling and scams measures. The meeting also focused on promotion of cooperation in trade, culture, tourism, education, media, and youth affairs.
