Parade honoring transfer of duties: Military Parade honoring transfer of duties of C-in-CDS

A Military Parade honoring the transfer of duties of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services was held at Zayar Thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw on 30th March.

On the occasion, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Tharasithu Thadoe Thirithudamma Min Aung Hlang and Commander-in-Chief (Army) Zaya Kyaw Htin Sithu Ye Win Oo received the salute of the guard of honor. On the occasion, the artillery unit fired 19 gun-salutes of honor.

Next, Senior General Min Aung Hlang inspected the guard of honor and later delivered an honorary speech.

On the occasion, Military Appointment-General Lt-Gen Zeya Kyaw Htin Htain Win read out the appointment letter of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services to Commander-in-Chief (Army) Zeya Kyaw Htin Sithu Ye Win Oo.

Next, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing then transferred the insignia knife of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and the flag of the office of Commander-in-Chief Office to General Zaya Kyaw Htin Sithu Ye Win Oo while conferring the badge of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.

In return, the newly appointed General Ye Win Oo presented honorary insignia knife of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services to former Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. Next, General Zeya Kyaw Htin Sithu Ye Win Oo delivered the acceptance speech.

After that, the former Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services took the salute of Guard of honor.  After that, the former Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services greeted the attendees and left the venue with the accompaniment of the military parade and military band.
