





On Saturday, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Htein Lin, accompanied by relevant officials, visited earthquake effected stadiums in Nay Pyi Taw, to inspect the ongoing renovation and construction process.
At Wunna Theikdi Stadium, the Deputy Minister inspected completion condition of lift, VIP seating and power line repair. He also reviewed AC paving for 400-m synthetic runway as well as greening and facelifting measures in progress.
During his visit to the Wunna Theikdi Swimming pool, the Deputy Minister coordinated necessities on timely completion of renovation process, fulfilling requirements. Upon arrival at Shwe Kyar Pin Stadium, the Deputy Minister inspected the completion status of renovation and facelifting measures including sprinkler system installation at the football field, paving of 400-m synthetic runway, installation of composite panels on the stadium façade as well as LED board and water and power supply repair. After receiving reports, he provided the necessary instructions.
At Dekkhinathiri sports ground, the Deputy Minister inspected ground leveling works, drainage installation, dredging of the ground water tank and completion of 100 KVA transformer installation. He also gave instructions to ensure systematic water and electricity access, as well as continuous maintenance measures to strengthen the resilience of the sports ground.
