Tourism Industry: Hotel development in Ayeyawady Region

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited hotels in Pathein of Ayeyawady Region on Saturday.

The Union Minister, together with concerned officials, reviewed hotel operations, room facilities, guest services, and preparations to attract more domestic and international tourists. Hotel managers explained their efforts to maintain high-quality service, follow government guidelines, showcase local handicrafts and cuisine, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and a pleasant environment for visitors.

The Union Minister emphasized that Pathein, as the regional capital and a key tourist destination, needs to continuously improve hotel services, staff performance, and guest experiences to support sustainable tourism growth.
