Meeting in Yatsauk and Kalaw : Vice Senior General meets with departmental personnel

Vice Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win met with departmental personnel from Yatsauk, Kalaw, Heho and Aung Pan on February 26 and 27 on separate occasions.

During the meetings, the Vice Senior General explained the government's efforts on holding the election, overcoming the various challenges since taking state's responsibilities. He stressed that preparations are underway for holding hluttaw sessions, followed by the presidential election in early April, handing over the state duty to the new government.

He urged all to serve the respective duties, contributing to the development of the nation. He also stressed for implementation of education promotion, health care services, agriculture and livestock works, boosting production, exceeding the target yields and export the quality products.

He urged all to strive for development of the region and the nation as a whole. Attendees reported on the need for education, health and labour sectors and the Vice Senior General coordinated the needs, and provided cash assistance.
