







In Commemoration of the 81st Anniversary Armed Forces Day, new asphalt roads constructed at Shwe Min Won and Padamyar Wards were opened on Friday. Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw attended the event together with the Regional Minister of Transport and concerned officials who cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the new roads.
On the same day, asphalt roads were commissioned into service on Ywar Htaung Station Road, mountain road to Sagaing Hill, Pan Kankaw Road and Khwar Nyo Road where the Chief Minister and party opened the new facilities by cutting ceremonial ribbon.
The Chief Minister and officials later presented cash rewards to performance troupes and cordially greeted the locals. At the Sagaing City Hall, the Chief Minister made commemorative speech for opening of the new roads, stating that the regional government made efforts on asphalt roads upgrading for the convenience of locals as well as education, health, socio-economic development. The related departments and locals are urged for participating in the effort for development works of the region. Official from Sagaing Region Development Committee reported on the road paving processes and one of the locals expressed words of gratitude.
The Chief Minister and officials later inspected the completion of 100 feet long and 100 feet wide new market building at Shwe Min Market in Shwe Min Wun Ward and gave necessary instructions.
