Groundbreaking Ceremony: Ceremony for Myanmar Diplomatic Academy held

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Myanmar Diplomatic Academy, held at the compound of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw at 8 AM on 25th February 2026. 

At the ceremony, the Union Minister, the Deputy Ministers and ‌a representative of Mother Development Co., Ltd laid stakes at the designated places and sprinkled scented water on them.  

Upon the completion, the Ministry will expand its training and educational programs to systematically develop foreign service personnel into highly qualified, next-generation diplomats, while also sharing knowledge on international and diplomatic affairs with interested individuals, including staff from various government organizations and ministries.
