





Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, accompanied by state government ministers and departmental officials, conducted field inspections of ongoing development projects in Sittwe on February 25th.
The Chief Minister and officials first inspected the brick wall construction, road widening, and platform construction project on Thattahtana သတ္တဌာန Road (from Lawkananda Junction to the Water Resources Department Office Junction) in Sittwe. The Director of the Rakhine State Development Affairs Committee, U Kyaw Moe, reported on the completion status of the brick wall construction, road widening, and platform works, as well as the work plans for subsequent activities.
The State Minister for Natural Affairs provided supplementary recommendations regarding the project implementation. After listening to the clarifications, the Chief Minister gave necessary directives and conducted a walk-through inspection of the brick wall construction, road widening, and platform construction works.
Then, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to inspect the Asphaltic Concrete (AC) paving works on Mayyu Road and Main Road in downtown Sittwe. The State Director of the State Roads Department reported on the progress of the work. The Chief Minister instructed that the project be carried out systematically to ensure timely completion in accordance with prescribed standards and coordinated with responsible officials on necessary matters. The Chief Minister and party continued their walk-through inspection of the AC paving works and also cordially met with local residents, it’s reported.
