MOFA Monsoon Tree Planting : DPM MOFA UM delivered the opening remarks

The 2025 Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took place on a vacant plot next to the spillway dam, opposite Zeya Htani Road, near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Nay Pyi Taw on July 2nd and the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe attended and delivered the opening remarks.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Than Swe, along with Deputy Ministers U Lwin Oo and U Ko Ko Kyaw, ambassadors, directors-general, and a full complement of officers and staff, were present at the tree-planting event.

Attendees collectively planted a total of 242 trees, including mango, starflower and mahogany saplings, in their designated spots. Following the planting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, ambassadors, and directors-general toured the area, observing and encouraging the tree-planting efforts of the officers and staff.
