Matriculation exam retaking : NPT Council Chairman inspected exam centers

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, along with council members and relevant officials, visited Basic Education High School No. (5) in Pyinmana Township and Basic Education High School No. (14) in Zabuthiri Township in the morning of June 16, where the matriculation exams were being re-administered.

He inspected the examination centers to observe the smooth arrival of students and their peaceful exam-taking environment. He instructed the responsible officials to ensure noise-free surroundings, smooth traffic flow, and adherence to road discipline to avoid disruptions.

He also urged administrators, school staff, and parents to collaborate in ensuring that students and the exam process would not face any inconvenience or obstacles. Later, Chairman U Than Tun Oo visited the Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee within the City Hall compound to inspect the ongoing waste segregation awareness and demonstration activities and delivered a speech encouraging systematic waste disposal and public education.

Following that, the Chairman and officials visited the Uppatasanti Pagoda to inspect the ongoing renovation and maintenance works. He gave necessary instructions and provided refreshments to those involved in the restoration work. Subsequently, at the Zabuthiri Hall, the Chairman attended the Nay Pyi Taw Council's Tax Collection Support Committee coordination meeting and delivered a speech.

In the afternoon, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited Myanmar International Convention Center (1) (MICC-1_ and inspected the renovation works of the damages by the earthquake, gave necessary instructions and provided foodstuff to the onsite workers. Later, the Chairman, together with officials, visited the Thapyay Kone Market, which had sustained damage from an earthquake.

He inspected the clearing and repair efforts and instructed officials to complete the restoration quickly, ensure the market could resume normal operation, and maintain the drainage system in good condition for effective water flow.
