Inspection Tour: Deputy Minister visits Feed Factories in Yangon

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi visited Htoo Thit Aqua Feed Factory in Shwe Lin Ban Industrial Zone of Hlaingthaya Township in Yangon Region on 14th June. The factory produces shrimp and fish feed using 70% local agricultural by-products such as rice bran and oilseed residues.

The Deputy Minister inspected the production of various pellet sizes and encouraged the use of local raw materials to produce high-quality, nutritious feed for healthy and disease-resistant livestock and aquaculture. He also visited the state-owned fish feed factory in Shwepyitha Township, which is being leased to Laurel Company. There, he inspected facilities and discussed operational requirements with responsible officials.
