Tour in Yangon: MOI Union Minister inspects Sarso Beikman construction

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited the construction site of the Sarso Beikman, located at No. 18-A, Bo Min Gaung Road, U Yin Ward, Mingala Taung Nyunt Township, Yangon Region on Saturday.

Officials from the Printing and Publishing Department and Myanmar Land & Development Ltd. reported on the progress of works. Funded by the Indian government, the three-storey RC building is 52% completed at present.

The Union Minister emphasized on timely completion of the project, meeting the set standard, with strict quality control and inspection. He also stressed the need to incorporating with expert on showcasing literature, music, and traditional performing arts, while collecting exhibition materials in advance. He added to ensure the building is modern, elegant, and suitable as a symbol of India-Myanmar friendship.

The Union Minister later toured the site to inspect ongoing work and gave further instructions to ensure systematic and high-standard completion.
