Ethnic Affairs: MOEA held a work coordination meeting

On the morning of 13th June, a work coordination meeting of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs took place at the Ministry.

Union Minister Khun Thant Zaw Htoo and officials attended the meeting. The Union Minister gave opening remark, highlighting matters related to the registration of ethnic literature and cultural organizations.

He also urged to take into consideration and collectively discuss matters related to the teaching of ethnic literature, issues concerning vacant, fallow, and virgin lands, and other matters related to the socio-economic development of ethnic nationalities.

After that, the Ethnic Affairs Ministers from the Regions and States reported on the work undertakings on ethnic affairs. The Deputy Minister also gave necessary instructions. The meeting was concluded by the Union Minister’s closing remark.
