





Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant attended the Knowledge Sharing Session on the practical accessibility technology regarding the reconstruction of quake-affected buildings, which was held at the Ministry on 12th June.
In his speech, the Union Minister said that the Knowledge Sharing Session was held for relevant departments and organizations, experts from the companies and supervisor engineers and contractors with the aim of being able to use the reconstruction techniques in the workplace by achieving good understanding of the techniques.
According to the agenda, the Director of Business Development, the General Manager of Construction Chemicals Department and the Senior Sales Solutions Engineer of Project Solutions and Engineering Sales Department made discussions on the topics- “Product Development for Earthquake Repair Works”, “Repair & Retrofitting works for damages due to Earthquake” and “Mapei FRP System for Structure Strengthening Works” respectively.
Then, the construction experts made discussions according to the relevant topics. Next, queries were raised among the representatives from relevant departments, construction organizations, and engineers from companies. After that, the Union Minister coordinated the needs.
