Inspection of sports trainings: MoSYA UM inspected sports trainings

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, accompanied by officials, visited the Kyaikkasan Ground (Yangon) in the evening on June 9.

They inspected Training Ground (1) with a synthetic track, where the preliminary national selection track and field athletes were training in sprinting, jumping, and shot put. During the visit, the Union Minister observed the training sessions, encouraged the athletes with motivational remarks, and gave instructions regarding necessary support.

Following that, the Union Minister and officials also visited the Wushu Training Hall, Pencak Silat Training Hall, and the Kyaikkasan Basketball Gym in Bahan Township, where the preliminary national selection athletes were undergoing training. The Union Minister provided guidance to ensure proper foundational techniques, emphasized the importance of strong physical conditioning, and called for efforts to ensure the availability of qualified referees. He further instructed that preparations be carried out systematically for Myanmar to participate in the 33rd SEA Games, to achieve medal success, and to bring honor and gratitude to the country.
