Recovery Efforts: Renovation works and provisions for flood-hit communities

In order to prevent erosion of embankment along Nam Htwam Creek in Myoma Ward in Machanbaw Township of Kachin State, preparation measures are underway for construction of temporary retaining wall. On 6th June, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan inspected the preparation works and provided the needs.

The Chief Minister also supervised the distribution of foodstuff provided by the families of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office for the flood-hit communities in Naungmoon and Khaung Lan Phu Townships. The provisions have been distributed to Ridam Village and Pan Nan Din since the 5th of June, using the Magwayza -Khaung Lan Phu Road via PutaO-Naungmoon Road and along Pan Nan Din Road via Rutbawt.
