Ensuring Food Security: Agriculture and livestock works in Machanbaw

Efforts are underway for ensuring food security in the PutaO District of Kachin State.

On 6th June, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan inspected the agriculture and livestock breeding tasks being carried out by the State Economic Promotion Fund in Machanbaw Township.

During the inspection, the Cheif Minister and party oversaw the piggery farms, oil milling process and vegetable plantations in Khan Gyo Village, fish breeding ponds in Namtkham Village, orchard farm in Inbuubawt Village and No.3 Ward in Machanbaw. During the tour, the Chief Minister provided animal medicines, coordinated the needs and instructed for extended implementation of the works, applying systematic measures.
