Agricultural Development: Provision of agricultural inputs

A ceremony to provide paddy seed and inputs for monsoon paddy cultivation for 2025-2026 Fiscal Year took place in Nga Kan Kaung Village of Pyinmana Township on Friday.

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Friday attended the event and stressed the needs for choosing quality seeds and achieving targeted yield, emphasizing on sufficient distribution of irrigated water and practicing systematic cultivation methods. He pledged to provide necessary inputs in cooperation with private sector in addition to the government’s assistance, State Economic Promotion Fund and Cooperative Fund.

The farmers are urged to follow the good agricultural practices for socio-economic development and gaining increased income as the related officials are striving for market penetration for agriculture products.

Then, the Union Minister coordinated the requirement on the reports of the farmers and provided paddy seed and inputs. Later, the Union Minister and party inspected the Solar-powered water distribution process implemented by Department of Rural Development in Mae Za Li Kone Village, and coordinated the needs.
