Development Works: Kachin State Chief Minister makes inspection

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan on Friday inspected the progress of repair works for the Suspension Bridge, crossing Mular Creek. The State government alloted 10 million kyat for repair works, which is situated on the production road for the farmlands from Mular Oun Village-tract.

The Chief Minister also inspected the reconstruction of the dam and preparation for monsoon paddy cultivation as well as the piggery farm, being operated by the Rural Business Fund under the Rural Development Department.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister visited the Basic Education High School (Doattan) in PutaO to oversee the camp training for Grade-12 students who are going to retake the 2025 matriculation exam. He also visited Mat Pan Farm of the Department of Agriculture and observed the operation process of Seed Plant.

At the District General Administration Department, the Chief Minister attended a meeting for recovery efforts in flood-hit areas in Naungmoon and Khaung Lan Phu Townships. The Chief Minister and party later inspected the piggery farm in Kaung Kahtaung Ward and provided veterinary medicines.
