Coastal Resources Management: Tanintharyi Region Committee held its meeting

Tanintharyi Region Coastal Resources Management Committee held its meeting in Dawei on Thursday.

Committee Chairman Chief Minister U Myat Ko discussed work undertakings on installation of VMS and AIS system at the fishing boats, extended designation of non-fishing areas, conducting of marine science research works, extended cultivation of mangrove, wind breaker trees and palm, enforcement of law, and waste management.

He urged all to make cooperative efforts for conversation of coastal resources and socio-economic development through the implementation of the decisions made by the National Level Central Committee and Work Committee.
