Work Coordination Meeting: Machine Supervisory Committee held its meeting

The Machine Supervisory Committee held its work coordination meeting at the Ministry of Industry with the attendance of Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister in his capacity as chairman of the committee stressed on drawing Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) to accelerate the systematic restoration and repairing of earthquake damaged machines and equipment.

The assigned team which will work on SOP is a team comprising of mechanical, electrical experts and engineers. He also stressed the need to draw SOP which can be applied to all types of natural disasters including earthquakes.

Next, the experts from Myanmar Engineering Council made discussions on Prevention of Earthquake Disasters for ACMV Systems in Factories and Post Earthquake Disasters Inspection for ACMV Systems in Factories.

Then, the Patron and Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Engineering Council made necessary suggestions during restoration and repairing process and the committee members made sector-wise discussions on drawing SOP. The meeting was concluded with the closing remarks of the committee Chairman.
