Academic Visit: MOE Union Minister visits schools and college

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe accompanied by Deputy Minister U Nay Myo Hlaing and concerned officials on May 30 visited No.1 Basic Education High School in Pyin Oo Lwin Township to oversee the school enrollment process of the students.

During the visit, the Union Minister cordially greeted students and parents, saying the Ministry’s efforts for continuous learning of basic education for all school aged children as the education plays pivotal role for nation development. He called for cooperative efforts of all concerned personels for rights to education for all school aged children. And, the students are urged for constant learning of education to achieve their goals.

Then, the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister provided text books and exercise books to the students, gave words of encouragement to the students who will retake the matriculation examination and inspected the preparations made for school reopening. The Union Minister also met with the teachers who will sit for the Diploma EP exam and assisted cash rewards.

Next, the Union Minister and party proceeded to Basic Education High School (Bae Lin) in Sintgaing Township, Basic Education High School (Han Myint Mo) in Kyauk SeTownship and No.4 Basic Education High School in Myeiktila Township, oversaw the school enrollment processes for 2025-2026 Academic Year and coordinated the requirement. At the Myeiktila Education Degree College, the Union Minister met with the teachers who are attending Diploma EP Training Course, and coordinated the needs.
