Inspection of Preparations: MoE UM inspected preparations of schools

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe visited basic education schools in Sagaing Region and Mandalay Region on May 29, to observe and encourage students and parents participating in the school enrollment process. He also inspected temporary classrooms and school repair and construction works being carried out ahead of the school reopening, providing necessary support where needed.

First, the Union Minister visited Railway Ward (Diesel) Sub Middle School, Ywathaung Sub Middle School, Chinsu Sub Middle School, and Basic Education High School No. 1 in Sagaing, where he interacted with students and parents enrolling for the 2025–2026 academic year, offering encouragement and support. He then inspected the completion status of temporary classrooms and preparations being made for the new school term, and took steps to provide what was necessary.

Subsequently, the Union Minister held the discussions with the faculty members at Yadanabon University and Mandalay University and reviewed the current status of student enrollment and also coordinated the needs.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited several schools, including Basic Education High School No. 31 in Chanmyathazi Township, Basic Education and Industrial, Agricultural, and Livestock High School No. 27 in Pyigyidagun Township, Mandalay Education Degree College’s Practice Middle School, Ohn Chaw Basic Education High School in Patheingyi Township.

There, the Union Minister met with students, their parents, and the students preparing to retake matriculation exams. He engaged with them warmly, encouraged them, inspected the implementation of school discipline and preparedness measures, and provided necessary support accordingly.
