Educational Support: Educational assistances for children of staff provided

The Ministry of Information held a ceremony to distribute educational support funds and stationery to the school-going children of its staff for the 2025–2026 academic year, at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on May 28.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung, departmental officials, and parents of the students. In his opening address, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn stated that this support not only provides encouragement but also reflects a spirit of unity and solidarity among staff members.

He emphasized that in return for this goodwill, staff members should raise their children to become intelligent, ethical, and loyal citizens who contribute positively to the nation. He added that only through a strong education system and an educated generation can the country become healthy, resilient, developed, prosperous, and wealthy.

After that, the Union Minister personally presented the educational support funds and stationery to the parents of students from the Minister’s Office, Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV), and the Department of Information and Public Relations.
