




An event to provide educational support for the children of staff from the Ministry of Energy who will attend school in the 2025–2026 academic year was held on May 27, at the Ministry’s Yadana Hall.
The event was attended by the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, departmental heads, parents, and students. In his opening speech, the Union Minister stated that the purpose of the ceremony was to support the education of children of Ministry’s staff for the 2025–2026 academic year. He noted that the government is actively encouraging school enrollment for all school-age children and is providing free educational materials, textbooks, and stationeries.
He described this initiative as an investment in the brain of the youth. He emphasized that young people are a key driving force for the country's future development and that every parent has a responsibility to ensure their children receive a good education.
He added that a nation can only be built with educated and capable human resources. Following the speech, the Union Minister and Deputy Minister presented school supplies and educational support funds to students from preschool to Grade 12 who will be attending school during the 2025–2026 academic year.
