Regional Security : Senior General visits Triangle Region Command

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Triangle Region Command on Saturday to inspect the status of military operations and logistical arrangements. 

Commander Brig-Gen Soe Hlaing reported on security, territorial administration, and rule of law enforcement, combating illegal trade, online scam and online gambling in border areas, cooperation with neighbouring countries, conduction security along Mekong River and border areas, combating cross-border crimes, human trafficking and drug cases and welfare activities. 

The Senior General stressed the need to be cautious about the security measures while making constant training for capacity building of the military units. He also highlighted to implement welfare activities through agriculture and livestock tasks. He urged all to strive for development of the region in addition to the security and defence measures.
