Agriculture and Livestock Development: Commission meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

The Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission held its meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on Thursday.

Commission Chairman General Nyo Saw made a speech, saying that plans to recover and restore damages will be made in the agricultural and livestock sectors in Mandalay caused by the recent major earthquake. He also pledged to provide agricultural inputs for achieving targeted yields.

He emphasized to supervise the export process for proper foreign currency flow along with the improvement of agricultural products. He also stressed to implement the agricultural based livestock breeding tasks while striving to establish the Agro-base Industry. The meeting discussed the implementations on the previous meeting minutes and work undertakings in respective sector.
