Tour in Kachin State: Meeting with legal officers and provision of relief aids

A work coordination meeting on Code of Ethics for legal officials was held at the Kachin State High Court on May 22nd with the attendance of Member of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu.

Speaking on the occasion, the SAC member urged the attendees to abide by the code of ethic in providing legal protection for the public. She also called for cooperation of all legal officers to ensure law enforcement and stability in holding general election and to conduct knowledge sharing sessions on legal affairs for public understanding.

The SAC member and party later proceeded to the handover ceremony of relief aids contributed by Kachin State Disaster Management Department to rescue and volunteer teams.

During the ceremony, 100 sets of temporary fabricated tent, over 300 tarpaulin sheets, instant noodle and rice soup cups donated from People’s Republic of China were handed over to the rescue teams and social organizations. Then, the SAC member, the Chief Minister and officials viewed around the donated items and cordially met with the rescue teams.
