School Enrolment Week: Commencement of 2025-2025 academic year

For continuous education for school-aged children, a school enrolment week for 2025-2026 Academic Year commenced across regions and states on Thursday.  In Shan State, Chief Minister U Aung Aung and officials oversaw the school enrolment activities at Basic Education High Schools No.1, 2, 3 and 4 in Taunggyi Township.

During the visit, the Chief Minister cordially greeted the parents and made encouragement. It is learnt that text books, exercise books, school uniforms, pens and pencils are provided free for the students of KG to Grade-12. This year school enrolment week will run from May 22nd to June 1st and the KG students have to submit birth certificates and household lists.
