Industrial Development: Visiting the workshop and factory in Yangon

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charile Than visited the Electronic and Motor Workshop under the No.24 Heavy Industry (Dagon) in Hlaing Township of Yangon Region on Wednesday.

The workshop is being operated by Shwe Katha Company Limited under the Public-Private Partnership program, producing solar panels.

In meeting with officials and skilled employees, the Union Minister stressed the need to strive for fulfilling the electricity demand of the nation, efficiently using the renewal energy sources.

The Union Minister and party later proceeded to the Pharmaceutical Factory in Insein Township and met with the factory manager and officials. Upon the reports, the Union Minister instructed to strictly follow the quality insurance system, ensuring the long term sustainability.
