Maritime and Aviation Training Courses: Meeting with the trainers and trainees in Nay Pyi Taw

On 21st May, Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the trainers and trainees from basic and advanced maritime and aviation training courses of Tatmadaw (Navy) and (Air) at Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw.

In his speech, the Senior General stated that the basic maritime and aviation training courses have been conducted for 9 times since 2014 as well as the advanced courses since 2015. As of today, a total of 8,446 trainees attended the basic maritime and aviation training courses and 1,644 trainees attended advanced maritime and aviation training courses.

The Senior General highlighted the advantages of the training courses such as cooperative and collaborative activities, knowledge exchanging and making friends. The Senior General urged the trainees to uphold unity and nationalism while striving to become reliable and qualified professionals for the nation and its people.

Next, the Senior General presented memorable gifts to the trainees and the trainees presented honorary gifts to the Senior General in return. Then, two trainees from respective training courses made clarifications on the knowledge and experience they have gained from the training.

It was followed by a tea reception for the trainees, hosted by the Senior General along with the music performance of Myawaddy Music Band. Prior to the meeting, the trainees made a tour to displayed weapons, uniforms and communication devices produced by Tatmadaw, aircraft miniatures, naval and air equipment and explored the flight simulator demonstrations.
