Disbursement of pension payments: Rakhine State CM provided basic food stuffs

A ceremony to disburse pensions and provide healthcare to pensioners was held at Khaing Thazin Hall in Sittwe, on May 21, with the attendance by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and other concerned officials.

The Chief Minister and party toured pension issuance points and healthcare services provided by the Traditional Medicine Department and medical personnel from the 500-bed Sittwe General Hospital. Following the tour, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements and distributed rice and basic foodstuffs to the retired personnel provided by the Rakhine State Government.

Under state government’s guidance, monthly healthcare and essential provisions have been rendered to pensioners in Sittwe Township at the 500-bed Sittwe General Hospital and Khaing Thazin Hall.
