Inspection of model cultivation: MGY CM inspected model groundnut cultivation plot

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, accompanied by relevant officials, inspected a model high-yield groundnut cultivation plot owned by farmer U Myo Htay in Magyikan Village Tract, Magway Township. He also met with local farmers and listened to their needs and gave necessary instructions, on May 18.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials met with farmers attending a demonstration event on model farming systems and provided them with directions and encouragement to help achieve the targeted yields for summer sesame.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister listened to development-related proposals from farmers of four villages within the Magyikan Village Tract. He assured them that their requests would be addressed through coordination with the relevant departments. In addition, he distributed green manure, and quality seeds of Sunnhemp to the attending local farmers.

Later, the Chief Minister and officials visited a poultry farming zone and a systematic land development site near Shar Pin Hla Village in Magway Township. They inspected the operations, gave guidance as needed, and assessed the ongoing implementation on site.
