




On 18th May, Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, accompanied by concerned officials, inspected the installation of Modular Houses for earthquake affected staff under the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
On arrival at Modular House Camp-1 in Pobbathiri Township in the north of Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station Area, the Deputy Prime Minister inspected the construction process and drilling of artesian well. He also instructed for systematic layout plan, necessary water and power access and sanitation installation as well as convenient transportation.
At Modular House Camp-2 in the south of Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station Area, the Deputy Prime Minister inspected the modular houses installation and emphasized on better drainage system as well as the betterment of entrance and exit roads and fencing. Subsequently, the Deputy Prime Minister and party proceeded to Modular House Camp within Road Transport Administration Department (Ywar Taw) Compound and inspected the installation process, water tanks and sanitation matters and instructed on sufficient water and power supply and swift accommodation of the staff.
At present, 4 modular offices and 34 modular houses among a total of 6 modular offices and 156 modular houses allotted by National Disaster Management Committee were already installed.
