Support for Sports: Meeting with Sports Federations

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affaris Jeng Phang Naw Taung met with Chairmen of Sports Federations which will participate in 33rd Southeast Asian Games at National Indoor Stadium (1), Thuwunna on May 16.

The Sports Federations include Jujitsu, Teqball, Squash, Hockey, Bowling, Kick Boxing, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Tug of War, Skate Boarding and Kabaddi. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister called for collective efforts of all sports federations to grap victories in the upcoming SEA Games.

He added that the Ministry is fulfilling the necessary requirement of the athletes in cooperation with sports federations. During the meeting, discussions were made on cooperation matters with host country in terms of sports categories, technical and coaching matters, list of athletes and selection matters, fulfilling training facility and sports equipment for the competition.

Then, the attendees made sector-wise discussions on current preparation processes of the ahtletes and coaches.
