Field inspection tour: Kachin State CM made inspection tour in Putao

In the northern part of Myanmar, within Putao District of Kachin State, efforts are underway to ensure regional food security through the implementation of agriculture and livestock development projects. To facilitate smooth operations and expansion of production, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan, along with the responsible officials attended the demonstration of spreading fertilizer into the summer paddy field and providing mustard seeds held in Mat Pan  field of Putao Township.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the warehouse where the 300 baskets of mustard seeds to distribute to the farmers and sacks of fertilizer in Myoma Ward.

After that, the Chief Minister visited the Phonkanrazi Hall to meet and encourage the 634 Grade-12 students who were accommodated in a camp to retake the matriculation exam. Professors and teachers from Myitkyina University were providing subject-wise revision lessons for the students.

Following this, the Chief Minister visited Putao High School and Lay Yin Kwin Ward High School to inspect the teaching and learning activities, meal preparation and distribution programs, and the arrangements made to support the teachers.

Later, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the operations of an oil mill in Doke Htan Ward, Putao. They then attended a summer sports training demonstration at the Putao District People’s Sports Ground and participated in the final match and award ceremony of the Men’s Youth (Open Category) Football Tournament, organized by the Township Rawan Ethnic Literature and Culture Association, where various prizes were presented.
