Distribution of agricultural inputs: Sagaing Region CM gave opening remarks at the event

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, together with responsible officials, on May 13, attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony for the distribution of urea fertilizer, agricultural diesel fuel, and drum seeders (hand-held seed sowing machines) held at the meeting hall of the Department of Agriculture in Monywa.

Following the ceremony, heads of various Region level departmental heads presented reports on their respective operations.

Then, the Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs discussed and provided further input on the departmental presentations, addressing necessary matters.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and members of the region government distributed 350 bags of urea fertilizer, 1,050 gallons of agricultural diesel, and drum seeders to 350 local farmers from 16 villages in Monywa Township.

After the distribution, the Chief Minister and responsible officials warmly greeted and interacted with the farmers attending the ceremony.

They also inspected the ongoing sales of agricultural diesel and cooking oil at subsidized prices for the 350 farmers from the 16 villages within the office compound, ensuring affordable access. Necessary support and coordination were provided in collaboration with responsible officials.
