




In the morning on May 12, at a temporary briefing shelter, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn was briefed by Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung regarding the placement of container houses for staff accommodation, the installation of prefabricated container offices, and the current living conditions of staff residing in the temporary buildings.
It was explained that plans are underway to allocate space near the office entrance road for 10 prefabricated container offices, each 20 feet in size, and to place 57 container houses including 7 units of 20-foot container houses near the parking area and 50 units measuring 20 feet in length and 10 feet in width on designated plots. Following the briefing, the Union Minister and officials inspected the land designated for placing the container houses, the installation of prefabricated container offices, and the current living conditions of staff accommodated in a temporary 21-room structure located on the lawn in front of the office.
The Union Minister also met with and offered words of encouragement to staff and their families.
During the inspection, the Union Minister instructed that, considering the approaching rainy season, the ground where the prefabricated container offices and the container houses will be placed must be properly measured and prepared. He also emphasized the need to ensure adequate provision of water, electricity, and sanitation for systematic staff accommodation, to maintain cleanliness and pleasant surroundings around the temporary housing, and to ensure staff live in an orderly and disciplined manner.
