






On May 12, Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin attended and delivered the opening remarks at the inauguration ceremony of the Advanced Domestic Sewing Training Course No. (4), held at the training hall of the Women's Domestic Vocational Training School (Loikaw) under the Ministry of Border Affairs. He also presented cash assistanes for the trainees, which were received by the school principal.
Following this, the school principal gave a briefing on the training program and its operational arrangements. Attendees at the opening ceremony observed and supported demonstrations of sample works that will be taught to the trainees.
The Chief Minister and relevant officials then inspected the training hall, trainees’ dormitories, staff housing, the library, practical sewing workshops, and dining facilities, coordinating with responsible personnel to address any necessary matters.
This newly opened training course will be attended by 20 trainees, running from May 12, to October 10, 2025, for a total of 22 weeks. The curriculum will include sewing skills, cooking and snack preparation, basic nursing care techniques, educational talks, and youth discussion forums.
