Dhamma Thabin: Religious ceremony at Maravijaya Buddha Park

Dhamma Thabin Ceremony of Kason Full Moon Day (Buddha Day) was held at the at the Aggadhipati Sasana Beikman of Maravijaya Buddha Park, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on Sunday evening.

The ceremony was attended by State Ovadacariya, Sangha Raja of Shwekyin Nikaya, Sitagu Sayadaw Dr Baddanta Nyanissara, Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife, officials and devotees.

First, the congregation led by the Vice Senior General observed the nine precepts administered by the Sitagu Sayadaw, and listened to the sermon delivered by the Sitagu Sayadaw. Then, the Vice Senior General made cash donation. The ceremony concluded after sharing the merits gained.
