Drug Seizure: K4.5 billion worth stimulant tablets seized in Waw Township

4.5 billion kyat worth stimulant tablets were seized in Waw Township of Bago Region, according to the report of Myanmar Police Force.

On 8th May, a combined team of Anti-narcotic Task Force, acting on a tip-off, stopped and searched a 12-wheeler, near Nyaung Khar Shay Village, and discovered 3 million stimulant tablets, along with the arrest of two suspects. According to the investigation, these stimulant tablets were transported from Shan State to Kayin State, and the case has been filed a lawsuit in line with the law.
