Tour in Monywa: Meeting with teachers and students in Monywa

State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Admiral Tin Aung San, accompanied by concerned officials visited the Basic Education High Schools in Monywa Township on Friday.

During the visit, they inspected the matriculation examination revision camps and met with rectors, teachers and students. Cash assistance and teaching aids were also provided to the students.

The Union Minister and party then inspected the lunch preparations and dining conditions of the teachers and students and instructed for proper hygiene, cleanliness and healthy food preparation. They then oversaw the implementation of public garden project by the Sagaing Region Development Committee for the 2024–2025 fiscal year and gave necessary instructions.

Later in the afternoon, the Union Minister met with the internally displaced persons due to terrorist incidents and gave words of encouragement. Over 1,746 million kyats from the National Disaster Management Fund were provided to them.

The Union Minister and party then attended a coordination meeting at the Sagaing Region Government Office to ensure successful reorganization for the 2025 matriculation exam. During the meeting, the relevant officials presented sector-wise reports on administration, support and training for students in revision camps.
