Work Undertakings: Relocation of staff and rural development works

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe accompanied by concerned officials inspected the construction of temporary basha housings within Myouk Hloot Kone domitory and storage compound for the relocation of the earthquake affected staff from the Department of Rural Development on Friday. He stressed on timely completion of the construction along with the necessary utilities as well as the swift relocation of the staff.

At Pyinmana Yeik Tha, the Union Minister met with the relocated staff, oversaw the accommodation condition and instructed on cleanliness and systematic accommodation.

Next, the Union Minister and party visited Thit Seint Pin Village, met with the executive members and members of the Agriculture and General Cooperative associations of Thit Seint Pin, Paw San Khawt, Hnan Taw villages.

During the meeting, the Union Minister emphasized on meeting targeted yield, practicing systematic planting methods and timely availability of agricultural inputs.

Subsequently, the Union Minister and party visited to a tailor shop initiated by Small scale industries establishment and rural income development project in Kyan Pho Su Village in Pobbathiri Township and encouraged to make concerted efforts in small scale industries development process.
