Ballet Performance: Commemorating the 80th anniversary Victory Day

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla together with delegation members enjoyed the ballet performances to mark the 80th Anniversary Victory Day Celebration, at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre on 7 May.

On arrival at the Theatre, they were welcomed by Speaker of the Federation Council Mrs Valentina Matvienko and officials. The Prime Minister and wife and delegation members, along with officials from the Russian Federation and audiences, enjoyed the ballet performances.

The State Academic Bolshoi Theatre is one of the most famous theatres across the world, and it became a focal point for Russian Operas and Ballet Performances in the 19th and the 20th centuries.

The major renovation was carried out at the theatre from 2005 to 2011, facilitating with modern machines to maintain the beauty of a historic building. At present, the Bolshoi Theatre has become a cultural symbol of Russia, presenting world-class artistic performances.
