Inspection of office operation: MoIP UM inspected office operations in Yangon

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing, accompanied by the relevant officials, visited the Ahlon Township Immigration Office in Yangon Region on May 6.

He inspected the office facilities, reviewed the operations, and provided necessary guidance based on the explanations given by the responsible officials. Following this, the Union Minister observed the staff carrying out the Household Registration and National Scrutinization Card issuance process for local residents under the Phase (3) of  Pankhin Project.

He encouraged the team in their step-by-step execution of the task. Later, the Union Minister engaged with local residents who had come to avail the services, discussing any challenges they faced and coordinating solutions as needed. He also observed the e-ID system in action, where biographic and biometric data were being collected to generate Unique ID numbers for those who had already received their citizenship cards.
