Meeting on rehabilitation process: MoSYA UM delivered the opening remarks

A meeting to discuss key issues concerning temporary relocation of staff affected by the earthquake, donation funds, distribution and utilization of aid materials, damage to office buildings and staff housing, clearing and assessment of damages, and the status of temporary shelter construction, was held at the conference hall of Office No. (31) in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on May 5.

The meeting was opened with introductory remarks by the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Jeng Phang Naw Taung. Following this, Directors-General, Deputy Directors-General, and the responsible officials in attendance discussed the decisions made by the Disaster Management Committee (DMC), the current progress of implemented actions, and the remaining plans to be carried out.

Deputy Ministers U Htein Lin and U Zin Min Htet, along with the Union Minister, also contributed to the discussion. Additionally, officials were instructed to carefully oversee the implementation of tree and crop planting programs related to the recovery process.
