Tour in Nay Pyi Taw: Irrigation facilities and teaching camps

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo accompanied by council members and officials visited Sin Thay Diversion Dam in Tat Kone Township to inspect the renovation process of the dam and irrigated water distribution for cultivation of summer paddy and crops.

On the reports made by the officials, the Council Chairman instructed for increase distribution of irrigated water scrutinizing the water demand for crops. He also instructed to get targeted yield and to increase multi cropping percentage by cultivating good quality seeds.

At the Basic Education High School in Makyi Pin Village and Basic Education High School (Branch) in Bayint Naung ward, the Council Chairman inspected the camp training provided for the students who will retake matriculation examination, and gave necessary instructions to the teachers. There, he also gave words of encouragement to the students and provided foodstuff and assistance.
