Reconstruction Efforts: Inspection at the Cement Plant

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, together with officials, visited Nagar Cement Plant in Naung Tayar of Pang Laung Township in Pa-O Self-Administered Zone on Saturday.

Officials reported on production process, availability of raw materials, distribution of cement and boosting production.

The Union Minister stressed the crucial need of cement for reconstruction works in quake-hit areas, and urged all to strive for operating full-capacity of the facilities. He also emphasized to take measures for price stability through the increased production. The Union Minister and party then inspected the production process at the cement plant, and arrangements for distribution to the market.
